Insgesamt habe ich einen sehr tollen Eindruck vom Hotel Mon Repos und hoffe, dass wir beim nächsten Mal wieder ein Zimmer hier buchen können.

Hotel molto accogliente e ospitale in ottima posizione per raggiungere il Palazzo delle Nazioni e il centro di Ginevra sia con i mezzi che a piedi. Ottima colazione. Attraversando il parco situato davanti all'albergo si arriva sul lago. Tornerò sicuramente.

Breakfasts were very good with a good choice . We were disappointed with the "Restaurant" which was more of a snack bar service with Pizzas and Pastas etc. The limited choice was made worse by the fact that a few items were out of stock but there had been serious disruptions earlier in the week with G7 protest marches etc. The staff were apologetic and good discounts were offered to counter the poor choices etc.

Dès qu'on entre dans la chambre, on est immédiatement traité comme un criminel en puissance. Il y a une carafe d'eau accompagnée d'un petit mot : « Si vous endommagez la carafe, vous devrez payer 30 francs. » Accueil sympathique. Pas vraiment un coup de maître de la part de la direction. Et quand je paie 250 francs pour une petite chambre simple avec une toute petite salle de bains, je m’attends tout de même à trouver une petite bouteille d’eau minérale dans le réfrigérateur. Rien. Le réfrigérateur est vide. Et encore une chose. Les hôtels à Genève offrent généralement un ticket pour les TPG. Ce n’est pas le cas à l’hôtel Mon Repos, malgré ma demande. Mais pour le reste, tout est en ordre. La chambre simple, à 250 francs, est tout simplement trop chère. H.H., journaliste à la télévision
