This was a big disappointment, if was far below our hopes and expectations.
We paid more than at other hotels but it a very poor experience and we will not return. We arrived to be told that checkin starts at 15h and I must go away. We sat in the courtyard with another couple in the same situation for an hour and a half. I have checked all emails and there is no mention of any such check-in time. A hotel of your size should be flexable.
We were allocated a room in the annex when I had said I could not walk far so that was useless and the car parking was already paid for. The receptionist did sort that out but if there had been any more such annoyances I would just have walked out then and there.
