The disappointments were the (pronounced) inflexibility over mixing and matching in the restaurant menu (such a different experience at La Tour the following evening), an unimaginative carrot dish, the difficulty in opening the windows in the room (it would be useful to be shown on arrival how to work the air conditioning), and the hair dryer not working. However, the room and the bed were very good, as was advice on the specific wines on offer that evening. The breakfast was also very good, including the lady running it. Reception on arrival was excellent. We loved the photo of Paul Cotat!

I am glad to read that you enjoyed your stay among us, and in particular thanks to the welcoming staff, the breakfast and the comfort of your room.
However, I take note with attention of your comment about the impossibility of mixing the menus. Indeed, we created menus and mixing it would disturb the service of the kitchen and so the service in the restaurant.
I am going to share your feedback about the air con and the window with the reception to improve ourselves.
We checked the hair dryer and it works, do not hesitate to contact reception if you have difficulties for anything in the room.
