I loved this hotel. It was beautiful and clean and we enjoyed our lovely balcony. We didn't eat in the hotel only because we wanted to experience being out and about in lourdes.. The hotel was so close to the grotto it suited our visit perfectly. The staff were lovely and friendly. . I would book this hotel again.

Je viens chaque année à Lourdes et je viens à l'hôtel Roissy. L'ensemble du personnel est très bienveillant. Nous sommes restés trois jours et avons pris tous nos repas sur place .

We are supposed to be in your hotel on Sept.26, 2026 but apparently we could not arrange any transport to be there on time. I am so disappointed since we paid a lot of money to that specific room because of that special occasion. I inform the hotel about our early morning arrival because that is the only time we can come in there. When we arrived there, they gave us a room which did not expected and paid for and I am utterly disappointed because I know which room I will be given since I am the one made the booking and I paid an enormous amount of money just to get that room on Sept. 26, the price of the room is 500 and on Sept.27 the price of that room is 410 and the succeding days will be 99 that is how it came from my bill. The reason why I chose that room because it has big balcony. The other hotel like Hotel Astrid does not have balcony and the one in Hotel Eliseo is not available on the 26, so I chose your hotel. I immediately complain about this to the reception. At first, the one who put us in that room argue about that the room I want is for four people. I told them, I do not care about how many people is required to that room but It the room that I paid for. I am so angry about it because I know what I paid for and this kind of excuse for me is like cheating. When we are in our room somebody knock on our door and it was the receptionist who put as in that tight and squeezed room and she told us she will transfer us the next morning because we are not satisfied to the room that she gave us and it is not right for the guest to fill that way. I guess, it is a polite way of admitting their mistake. It is not my first time to come to Lourdes and we have travel around the world so, I have an idea how that happen. When they knew we are not going to check-in on that specific day, they sold the room to the guest that can pay that amount of money on that specific occasion and when we arrived the guest is still there and they can not ask them to leave right away so they told us on Monday they will transfer us after those guest leave. I am so angry because I loose the Sept.26-27, date of my arrivals on your hotel which I paid for a lot of money. This is not right like I said for me it is a form of cheating the guest. I am sorry but our room is not that clean they are suppose to change the towels every day since this is only basic to every hotels around the world. The mirror is not being clean and they just fold and arrange the bed which I always did every time I woke up. They did not replenished the coffee amenities. Over-all it is okay and the receptionist who check us out is wonderful she is friendly and nice. I hope this kind of unpleasant things should have avoided because you have a great hotel. Thank you.

Dear Guest,

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We are sorry that part of your stay did not meet your expectations, but we would like to clarify an important point regarding your room allocation, as there appears to have been a misunderstanding.

The room initially allocated to you was indeed the room category you had booked: a Superior Comfort room with a king-size bed and a balcony equipped with chairs. There was therefore no error in your room allocation and, most importantly, your room was not resold to another guest.

We understand from your comments that you had chosen this category because you particularly liked the specific room shown in one of the photographs on the booking website. However, photographs displayed for a room category are representative of that category; they do not constitute a reservation of the exact room appearing in the photograph. With 187 rooms in our hotel, it would of course not be possible to display every individual room or for guests to select a specific room solely from a photograph.

Nevertheless, once our receptionist understood that it was specifically the room shown in the photograph that you were hoping to have, she checked its availability. As soon as it became available, we were pleased to transfer you to that particular room for the remainder of your stay.

This was not an admission that an incorrect room had initially been allocated. It was simply our team doing its best to accommodate your personal preference once we understood exactly what you were looking for.

We therefore regret that you felt that there had been some form of deception. We can assure you that this was absolutely not the case. The particularly high rates during the dates of your stay were related to this exceptional period in Lourdes and had no connection whatsoever with the allocation or resale of your room. You received the category of accommodation that you had reserved and paid for.

Regarding housekeeping, we apologise that the mirror was not cleaned to the standard it should have been and that the coffee amenities were not replenished. These are points that should not have been overlooked. Additional amenities can of course be requested from Reception at any time, but we nevertheless recognise that they should have been replenished during the servicing of your room.

Concerning the towels, our hotel follows its environmental and water-saving policy. Information is provided in the bathroom explaining that towels left hanging indicate that the guest wishes to reuse them, whereas towels left on the floor are replaced. This is why towels are not automatically changed every day when they are left hanging.

Finally, thank you for your kind words about the receptionist who assisted you at check-out. We are pleased that, despite your disappointment regarding the room at the beginning of your stay, you found our hotel overall to be a good establishment.

We hope these explanations clarify what happened and reassure you that there was never any intention to mislead you or to give you a lower room category than the one you had booked.

Kind regards,

Management

Molto confortevole, garantita privacy e discrezionalità. La TV dovrebbe funzionare meglio e con più canali. Ci tornerei molto volentieri. Grazie per tutto

There were no sheets on the bed. I don’t know if those blankets are cleaned after every visit.
If so, that’s fine
The soup was like water other than that the meal was good. We were hungry.
