My family and I went to see the local Almabtrieb (cattle drive) in Schwangau. We were not aware of the fact that both Neuschwanstein Castle and Hohenschwangau Castle were in the town. The hotel location is in a place where you have fabulous views of both castles. And the town is just a short walk away. We loved the area and hope to revisit during the Christmas season and stay, hopefully, in the same room that were stayed in before. The view sitting on our balcony was really spectacular.

Een hotel met degelijkheid, vriendelijkheid (vb. extra kussens vragen), proper en zéér goede beheersing van Engels.

Ein Traditionshotel, typisch bayrische Einrichtung, die hellen Holzverkleidungen sind schwer mit modernen Accessoires zu kombinieren. Es wäre ratsam, einen Dekorateur zu bemühen, der eine Linie ziehen kann, zwischen alt und neu. So wirkt das Hotel typisch nach Hausfrauenart dekoriert.

Hotel Waldmann surpassed our expectations that had been set by previous reviews we read when making our reservation. The property was conveniently located amongst the castles and so many other areas of interest all within an hour drive. The staff made us welcome from the start, and continued to demonstrate wonderful hospitality through our entire stay. We will return to this hotel upon our next visit to the area.
