There was only one member of staff who was really friendly and made us feel welcome (breakfast time). One was not helpful as we tried our best in German at dinner time . Maybe she was having a bad day! We love Germany and have never felt unwelcome before. English menu would have been great, though we're very happy to read a German one with a little help from staff and Google.
It's a lovely hotel but this spoilt our experience.
