West End is a lovely establishment however it is the little things (good and bad) that make the experience. With the already documented issues above and the following, overall, it was disappointing. We had decided to really experience the French Riviera by staying at an establishment that was on the water front even though it was out of our price range. We were unaware of the Ironman event and with no connection or interest in the event we most likely paid an inflated price. We had a car booked in for the 23rd and given details by the receptionist of where to park. There were issues in parking the car as these directions (Level-1) were totally incorrect and only got there by contacting the parking garage. Upon telling a different receptionist what occurred he informed me that I was given the wrong information and would need to move the car. I then had to contact parking garage again to give me access into level-1 to get car and again to open gate for me to leave. This whole process took over an hour on our last day. Also as of writing this review (29/09/2024) there still remains a block on our credit card in excess $2,700.00 even though the account was paid in full 24/09/2024. This needs to be removed immediately!!

We loved our stay, have visited previously but not for a while.
Absolutely loved our room 612 and lovely breakfast, thank you.
No hot water on last day but didn’t spoil our stay.

The money spent was well worth the experience...great location, amazing beach ( with beach towels), lots of options to eat out and the breakfast buffet was outstanding. The staff were friendly and very helpful as needed. The only surprise was the cost of the pre-booked taxi transfer from hotel to airport - 45 Euros for a 15 minutes ride. If you can get your own taxi from train station or airport it should be in the range of 25 Euros.

Disappointed ... not the room we asked for, no message to say that the room was ready as promised, promise to split beds did not happen. Returned to the room to find the door left open by housekeeping. No hot warer on our day of departure.
