Overall a good stay! A minus though that the shower was installed in a way that made showering a very difficult procedure because the water came from the side instead of from over the head which meant that you either had to hold the handle or having water pouring all over the bathroom

It is a cozy older hotel with a great location. Unfortunately, there is no sea view from hotel accommodations and conference and gives an obscure expression. There is only sea view from the restaurant. It is a shame that the device architecture, color and material is a little confused. The hotel has a very service-oriented staff. We had 3 nice days despite the weather.

Nous sommes déçus de cet hôtel et nous ne sommes pas d'accord avec le classement à 4 étoiles.

Nous regrettons que vous ne soyez pas en accord avec ces autorités mais plutôt sur votre appréciation personnelle.

Excellent, except for the food.
Breakfast: Cold buffet was very acceptable. "Hot" buffet (cooked food) was dreadful. Everything was very cold, kept in unheated tureens, the bacon/sausage were overcooked and as a result, very hard and salty and extremely greasy. Every item was very unpleasant. If you choose to offer a hot buffet, you should ensure that it is both hot and edible. After the first morning - Wednesday - we avoided the cooked breakfast for the rest of our stay.
Dinner: We chose from the Special menu each evening. From 5 meals, 4 were very good or excellent, on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. On Wednesday, the first and second courses for both of us were extremely poor indeed. Awful. The salmon, which had been thoroughly enjoyed on the previous evening, was a totally different affair. So we are comparing exactly the same dish on two adjacent evenings. The vegetables were so salty as to be inedible, and we told David, the Head Waiter, about this. He brought fresh vegetables which were much better. Both the starter courses on Wednesday, one a poached egg in a strangely unpleasant sauce, and the other a salad which consisted of about 20 sour cherry tomatoes and horrible balls of mozzarella cheese, and nothing else, were not worthy of this Restaurant, and let the Hotel down very badly. The meal was a dismal affair.
In addition to the above, we consider that this menu ought to have stuck to its promise of changing the specials dishes daily, because the set choice is so limited in itself. On various days, the starter of the day, main course of the day and dessert of the day were all offered on two consecutive evenings, between Tuesday and Friday, which could hardly be described as a daily changing specials menu.
On several occasions, the restaurant bill was inaccurate, and had to be corrected.
The shortcomings of the restaurant might well influence our decision of whether to stay at the Hotel again, as an essential part of a holiday for us is food of CONSISTENTLY good quality, which this calibre of Hotel ought to be able to supply. This is a great pity, as the Hotel is otherwise perfect for us.
