A hotel just hanging on to its 4 stars. The breakfast is no good enough and our first rum was, sorry to say, disgusting.
But the staff was nice.

Хороший отель, расположенный в самом центре променада, удобно добираться до любых достопримечательностей. Хороший завтрак. Приветливый персонал, очень удобно, что есть русскоговорящая администратор Екатерина. Цена несколько дороговата за старый отель и небольшой номер (правда с видом на море).

Fantastic location but dated and needs a refresh.

Dated 1842 our historical hotel show all its pas glory but its soul is still shining on the Promenade.

Very good experience. Great location, fabulous free breakfast, excellent staff who speak English well enough. The only issue we had was with your bathtub. Because the tub floor is 2 or 3 inches higher than the bathroom floor itself, it creates a fall hazard when getting out of the tub because that extra few inches to the bathroom floor is unexpected and causes a loss of balance on the wet, slippery bathtub floor. An accident waiting to happen.

A thoroughly enjoyable 6-night stay in a superb location both for Nice itself and for travel to a few nearby places of interest including St. Jean de Cap Ferrat, Cannes, Antibes and Menton, all an easy trip away by public transport. One constructive comment (but by no means a criticism) would be that the breakfast area could do with a rethink. The breakfast itself was excellent but the area is a little too cramped and partly open to the outdoors which is a problem if the weather is poor. One simple improvement could be made - do not activate the plant watering system early in the morning just before breakfast because at around 8.00 am every day, some of the tables are unusable due to excessive pools of water on the floor from the irrigation. Perhaps watering late at night and/or repositioning of the water jets would be a helpful move. Overall a very enjoyable stay - thanks to all the team of friendly and hard working hotel staff who made it such a great experience.

Add some nice cheese as you are in the country that has the best food in the world

Very good. Expensive for an old fashioned hotel with no ‘extra’ facilities, but it’s position was exceptional.
