Rommet hadde god standard og rent. Betjeningen var meget hyggelige. Det var får få stikkontakter på rommet når en skal lade batterier. Frokosten var meget bra og godt utvalg. Kommer gjerne til bake til dette hotellet nå vi er i Nice. Bussen stopper rett utenfor hotellet og går flyplassen.

Disappointed that we were not given advance warning that because The Carnival was scheduled to coincide with our visit, The Promenade would be closed to traffic and we would have a significant walk to the Hotel from our taxi on our arrival. This is apparently an annual event but no mention was made of it either when we booked or during my subsequent communications with the Hotel prior to our arrival.

Dear Jaytee48, since the tragic event occured in July 2016, the police forces are appliying more severe restrictions to the traffic and depending the number of visitors attending to the Carnival Parade they may strengthen it without notice.
We are sure that you can understand this and deeply regret that you had to walk to join the hotel but nowadays safety for all is mandatory especially in touristic areas where people is gathering for entertainment purposes.

Great hotel. It is my second time in 10 years and I have enjoyed my experience there. The front desk personnel are very kind and helpful. Not a single complaint, instead highly commendable.
Great location, beautiful architecture. Worth the stay.

Första våningen mot bakgården 126. Mycket störande ljud från maskiner. Svårt att sova..

The location of the Hotel West End is wonderful -- right on the promenade in Nice. While my room had no view at all, it was nice to walk out of the front door and see the Mediterranean Sea each day. The hotel has an old world elegance in terms of its decorations in the lobby, though some of the furniture is worn and could use reupholstering.

Generally good only let down by the lack of information in the room. Need a directory of services, phone numbers, room service menu etc.
