Mauvaise, double facturation du restaurent au moment de mon départ, obligé de me justifier et apporter des preuves de l'erreur de l'hôtel (trop de discussions), mon petit déjeuner pas pris (trop d'attente) mais quand même facturé, le restaurant d'une ambiance désagréable, bref je ne reviens plus ni seul ni avec mes amis.

An interesting hotel where I'd be happy to stay again. However, there is scope for improvement to justify the 4 star rating. Friendliness and helpfulness of staff was very good.

Belle chambre vue sur mer. Propre, bien entretenue et insonorisée. Personnel au top. N’hesitez Pas à m’avertir si vous avez des offres promotionnelles.

Odeur d’égout dans la chambre, pas de canal+, pas de machine à café, des prestations pas à la hauteur de l’hotel.
De plus pas de service pour monter ou descendre les bagages.
Nous sommes venus le soir de Noël, personne ne nous a dit de réserver le restaurant donc celui ci était plein... bref nous n’avons pas été pris en considération...
Déçu de notre halte dans votre établissement.

This is supposed to be a four star hotel. Only great thing was the location. The room was dirty and the floors were swiped only on the fourth day of our stay! The terrace over the restaurant was closed although the weather was excellent. The front entrance of the hotel was dirty. No ashtrays on the tables. The whole hotel needs an updating. What about the pests/bugs in our room! I showed the photo of those at the reception. I am not happy with the answer "we don't know what these are but they are not dangerous and it does not mean that your room is not clean". Whaat!!!! We travel a lot. But this was the first time I found pests/bugs! Greetings from the lady who took a day off from work just to laundry everything we had with us and heating the sauna just to put our luggage in the heat. In case that we have now unwanted visitors in our home. What a dissapointment. And you had invoiced my credit card wrongly. It is now corrected.

Thank you for your visit at the West End in Nice. It's been a real pleasure to welcome you and we do hope one to welcome you back.
Though we do regret your disappointment , we do apologize for the inconveniences and of course immediatly after your request and inpection has been done by our technicians and also our housekeeper in charge of all our rooms.
The insect is not a bug which may cause severe discomfort .
Alll our rooms are reguarly checked and inspected and never in the past we had such visitors in our rooms.
Should you feel any discomfort when in your room, please ask our recepetion staff or maids to come and order a cleaning up to your expectations, though this should not be noticed .
Please remind that no astrays are provided in non smoking rooms as it is not allowed to smoke .
Our hotel is an historical building dated from 1842 with a true Belle Epoque style and unlike the modern contemporary hotels with cold and lifeless decorations we offer a very warm and elegant ambient. We do understand that it cannot be up to everyone expectations and taste but it's all our difference and asset.
We keep the original beauty of the building and it a true challenge to keep it up to the standards without altering its charms.
Should you wish to contact us back, please do as we do engage ourselves in keeping the best relashionship whith all our guests.

Very very nice. Comfortable and clean. Difficult for wheelchair access as only one slope to pavement and stairs to entrance. Food was perfect. Bar wasn't open first night which surprised us. Also couldn't access world news though not important I always when travelling have access to English speaking TV. There was very little to access on the room TV.
