The location of the hotel had been good. The service, had been really bad. I have never stayed in a hotel with staff like it! Everything you asked for at breakfast took really long, used plates haven’t been cleared and staff had not been helpful at all, most of the times I ended up, looking for someone else to help.
Worst experience had been in the lobby. After midnight, we took our glasses of wine inside, because we were not allowed to finish the glasses outside, at 12.15 they switched of the light, while smiling at us! Horrible!
The hotel has clearly seen better times. Staines on carpet, etc.
Never again!

Sjarmerende gammelt hotell med hyggelig betjening mitt 5 opphold så det sier jo sitt hit kommer jeg garantert tilbake. Bussen til flyplassen ligger rett på utsiden av hotellet. Kan gå rett over gaten så er man på stranden 10-15 min så er man i gamlebyen.

The last thing I did before leaving the hotel 15. of June was to pay the city tax. No mention o f anything extra, and indeed we did not expect that as not a singel thing was removed from the minibar. Today I as was, therefore, surprised to find that an additional 5 euro had been charged to my credit card. A negligible amount in itself, but I find it pertinent to advice you of this "error" as something is obviously wrong somewhere. I can add that we enjoyed our stay at West End. I suggest you start sending these questionares in english to. that will give you many more returns. Sincerely Preben Mork

Our overall experience at this hotel was nothing short of excellent. Staff was very helpful in every interaction. We asked for assistance with finding interesting places for dining, and they were very helpful. We experienced slow-downs in the WiFi at times, depending on times of day.

Lovely position. Public rooms look well worn. Pity more is not made of outside area, too much foliage, it needs opening up similar to Westminster Hotel. Bar service is fine but restricted to an interior room.

We were very disgusted to learn on arrival that we had to pay over 20€ for a beach bed and parasol per person per day. Normally hotels with your calibre are free to residents.
