The Hotel zur Pfeffermühle is a wonderful destination. A perfect mix of comfortable and clean accommodation coupled with excellent and varied food, both at breakfast and dinner.
The hotel team is great and make you feel welcome. There's a good bar too, and we loved how they use local Austrian drinks where possible. The Negroni made with Austrian bitters, gin and vermouth is worth a try, as is the excellent wine list.
We've stayed at a lot of hotels, but this one stands out as one we will return to - and that's a rare comment from me! Fully recommend... and don't forget to use the excellent Spa.
