We were a family with three rooms and everyone agreed we would stay here again. We had an eight year old with us and we were very comfortable with him going to each room on his own. Needing your key for entry into the hotel made it feel quite safe

You need to provide a nice place to sit and talk or read a book- especially if the client’s room is unattractive.

Wir waren nur für 2 Nächte - über Pfingsten dort. Einzelzimmer klein aber sauber. Ebenso das Bad. Die Mitarbeiter waren alle sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstücksbuffet war reichhaltig und lecker. Die S-Bahn fährt direkt vor der Tür her. Was nachts natürlich mit Lärm verbunden ist. Aber nach einem langen Tag in der Hauptstadt fällt man eh todmüde ins Bett.

Hotel Kastanienhof is a nice little pension in the cool hood of Prenzlauerburg. Choc-a-bloc with shops, cafes & restaurants and with a tram stop across the street, it ticks all the boxes. Traditional and quiet, it's spotlessly clean with comfortable beds, a nice shower, good wifi, central heating/air and a good breakfast buffet. Staff are friendly & always available. Recommended!
