I love this hotel! The location is great, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the rooms are utilitarian but comfortable and clean. There are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. Staying here makes for an authentic Berlin experience.

Really enjoyed the neighborhood and location of hotel. Room was comfortable being it was not a hot time for the year.

freundlich, familiär, sauber, gutes Frühstück. Ausstattung des Zimmers eher einfach, kleinere Dinge haben nicht funktioniert (Nachttischlampe, Temperaturregler Dusche)

I had a wonderful experience at Hotel Kastanienhof, as always. I have stayed at this hotel for six consecutive summers and will continue to return so long as my business takes me to Berlin. Pleasant and accommodating staff, neat, clean and modern rooms, very pleasant breakfast area, and free newspapers given out each morning.
