This was a return visit after 9 years. We loved it then and had such fond memories we looked forward to another chance to return. Our visit was again lovely. The welcome by Saskia and Martijn was warm and friendly. The accommodations are so comfortable and much thought has gone in to appointing the room. We appreciated the coffee and tea in the room and the little refrigerator too. table d'hote was great! We enjoyed the company of the owners and other guests and the food was delicious. Anyone considering a stay should go!

Saskia est très sympathique, le cadre est magnifique, les chambres très grandes et très jolies, le petit-déjeuner super, je recommande vivement l'Abbaye du Palais !

Aan alles is gedacht. Het huisje was netjes en heel compleet ingericht. Op het terrein is genoeg te doen, zeker voor kinderen. De omgeving is prachtig.
Als ik dan toch een minpuntje moet noemen, dan is het dat het terrein slecht verlicht is als het donker is. Bij het ‘s avonds uitlaten van de hond was een goede zaklantaarn echt nodig.

Unser stilvoll eingerichtetes Zimmer befand sich in einem eindrucksvollen, liebevoll eingerichteten, historischen Gebäude. Den Gästen steht ein sehr schöner Aufenthaltsraum mit großem Kamin zur Verfügung. Sehr gutes Frühstück. Die sehr liebenswürdigen Gastgeber (Holländer) zeigten uns das gesamte Areal mit den Ruinen des früheren Klosters. In den Nebengebäuden befinden sich mehrere sehr ansprechende Ferienwohnungen. Wir überlegen mit Groß-Familie wiederzukommen.

Notre bande de cousins non creusois ( 20 personnes) ont beaucoup apprécié notre week end creusois malgré le seul week-end de pluie, beaucoup ne connaissaient pas la Creuse, ils sont prêts à revenir.
Ils ont découvert ce département et surtout il ont adoré votre hébergement et votre accueil. Je pense qu ils n avaient vu un endroit pareil où on se sent si bien.
Je n ai eu que des compliments pour cette organisation de cette la cousinnade mais ceci ,je le vois à VOUS.
ENCORE UN GRAND MERCI.

Very pleasantly surprised as we only booked as we needed a bed for the night close to Bouraneuf. Instead, we experienced the delight of spending time in a grand building of historical interest.
