La Maison Blanche

The room/appartment is not 'high end' or brand new. But we did not expected it to be so. It was comfortable and clean enough. In the appartment (2 rooms) we had enough space.

The price seems to be higher then what we would pay for an accomodation of this kind (on this location), but the (modern) wellness compensates for this. Therefore I think the ratio price-quality is OK. Although, when somebody is not using the welness (or when somebody is staying a week and only uses the welness once or twice, the price per night would be a bit too high).

Cleanliness was OK. Still 3 point specific aspect to improve:
- the shower has soms spots on the ceiling that shows their had been mold from humidity. This will certainly turn of some guests (for us it was acceptable). But (if the cause is allready fixed) some new painting of the ceiling is needed.
- it is a bit hidden for sombody that cleans the room, but when you lay down on the bed (double bed in the first room on the left in the appartment for 4) you can see clearly some dust above your head.
- the vitroceramic cooker hob could have been cleaner (again: it was OK, but could have been better).

The host provides a welcoming atmosphere. As well on arrival as during breakfast. Also this ads up to the complete experience.

Overall: correct price for a good accomodation on a great location (if you like nature).

Très agréable, nous reviendrons surement sans problème.

Goede uitvalsbasis voor uitstapjes naar de nabij gelegen dorpjes, vlak aan de zee.

Great location for use of the euro tunnel very quiet location beautiful village. Only issue we faced was the lack of restaurants for dinner
