This is a small, family-run hotel offering different types of rooms (private, group) catering especially to hikers and skiers. It's not a flashy place, but due to the people running it, the atmosphere is wonderful. We ate breakfast every day (standard Euro breakfast fare), took a picnic lunch from the kitchen (bread, cheese, fruit chocolate), and had dinner there each night (soups are really perfect, the rest of the dishes are completely fine, but not exceptional). The rooms are small and can feel confining if you're not out hiking or skiing, but we were out most of the time. There is a large common area with decent wifi reception that is a good place to stretch out beyond the confines of your room, although I suspect it gets crowded during the high season (NOT when we were there). Our first room opened onto the terrace and was a bit loud both morning (it was right over a kitchen door) and evening, but we switched to one that was quieter and slept better. The only potential negative about this hotel was that it lacked air conditioning and I suspect it could be somewhat uncomfortable at peak heat in the summer. We visited in late August and it was cool enough with the windows open (although without screens we ended up with some flies in the room, especially in our room by the kitchen door, on the terrace). All in all, we have very fond memories of our time there and suspect we will visit again.
Super. Ambiance décontractée
Nous étions dans un appartement, en autonomie.
À recommander absolument !
À renouveler et à recommader
