Lasala Plaza Hotel

Lasala exceeded our expectations! We traveled with friends for a quick stay and chose Lasala based on proximity and the valet parking option. Upon entering the lobby, there is the most delicious fragrance. The staff took the time to go over a map of San Sebastián and also served us champagne at check in. Our room was spacious and was technically advanced beyond just A/C. A fancy bidet, adjustable bed frame, heated bathroom floors wow wow wow! The roof top terrace is stunning but small. Only about 8 lounge chairs which fill up quickly. I do not think kids would enjoy the pool area as the pool is more for a dip to cool off. Hotel Lasala made our trip very special, but also very hard to leave. We wish we could have stayed longer.

Great. The hotel was wonderful and the staff brilliant. We had moved this booking several times due to covid and were pleased with the service and attention we got. We will definitely stay here again.

This is a excellent and well located modern boutique hotel. The rooms are very well equipped and our room, 404, was almost totally silent with a great sea view. The aircon system is the quietest and best we have ever experienced in a hotel. The breakfast is good value in a simple setting and the bar is busy and good fun. The individual shampoo, shower gel and proper soap were replaced with bottles fixed to the wall during our stay. This was a retrograde step and not in keeping with the price and character of the hotel. This is definitely NOT a cheap budget hotel and this decision should be reversed now. The Negroni was poor because Aperol was used instead of Vermouth! Ugh! If you want a central hotel in the buzz of the old town and harbour and a 2 minute walk to the beach, The Lasala Plaza would be a great choice. Finally there was a fire alarm during our stay. This is not a problem and the system works, but given that the majority of the guests were not Spanish, the emergency recorded evacuation message should be repeated in other languages
