All of the staff are friendly. We spoke to them about surfing, the festival in San Pedro Pasai, the Basque language. They were interested in what we were doing and local culture. We think that they should be able to be natural with us.

Stay was generally good except with our experience with the receptionists especially during check out.

We are pleased to learn that your stay was generally satisfactory and that both the cleanliness and location met your expectations. We especially appreciate your recognition of these aspects, which are priorities for us.

We are quite surprised by your comment. As we informed you in your previous reservation review, we were very surprised that knowing the hotel was listed as "adults only" on all websites you came with your son who is 14 years old. Despite the conditions of your reservation, we made an exception and refunded you half of the amount paid (you did not mention this in the previous review or on this one). Despite this, on the day of your departure, you requested a late check-out and we informed you that it was not possible because the hotel was full, although you were ultimately allowed to leave after 12:00.

Your comments on your poor experience with the reception upon departure. Could you please provide more information? Or do you simply mean that because we were unable to offer you the full late checkout, as you mentioned? We'd love to hear from you so we can understand your comment.

We found that the hotel was in a great location with beautiful views. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable.

Very comfortable. We enjoyed the breakfast and the breakfast staff. They were friendly and professional. We found the front desk staff to be a bit reserved and not as welcoming. Overall, it was lovely howeve,r we wished we had stayed in an ocean view room rather than the graffiti square view room that we had. Unofrtunatley no rooms were available to upgrade while we were there without having to change rooms every day.

I enjoyed our stay. The roof top bar was excellent and the staff attentive.
Reception was not always great as in a couple of the receptionists were off hand - the manager was helpful after complaining about a false fire alarm
I would have liked body cream and hair conditioner in the bathroom
Overall I would definitely choose this hotel again
