Hotel was fine. Roof top pool was poor and not shown correctly in images. Staff were rude and unhelpful. Price was far too high for the offering. Overall disappointing, would not recommend.
First of all, we would like to thank you for choosing Hotel Lasala Plaza for your stay in Donostia.
We are very sorry to read that an event outside the Hotel has worsened your stay and experience with us.
After making the appropriate inquiries and asking about what happened, we were personally surprised to read your comment.
On the one hand, you were duly informed that at 22:00 you had to leave your table in the Artean restaurant. This is not a whim or a rule of the Hotel Lasala Plaza, but a rule of the restaurant itself, which is not part of the Hotel.
Why do we know that you did know that you had to leave the table at 22:00 hours? Because your mother confirmed it to us, who by the way was delighted with your stay with us.
On the day of your departure, my colleagues were waiting for you to check out with you and deal with the issue, but to our surprise, you were not able to go to the desk to do so, even though the day before you had threatened us with a "tomorrow I get my money back for the whole stay".
We would like to inform you that we work very hard to meet the needs of our guests and our team works very effectively to do so; this is supported by the feedback from our guests. However, I can assure you that in no case will we be provoked by threats or any kind of incident beyond our responsibility and more knowing that you were duly informed.
As for the price or breakfast included in the rate, it was you yourself who chose which hotel, what rate was available and whether you wanted breakfast included or not. In this case it is free choice of the guest to choose what kind of rate he/she wants and if he/she wants breakfast included or not, so, before staying, he/she already knew this information.
We are left with the feeling that your stay was better than you reflect, as your mother let us know, but not receiving any kind of refund from us that you expected, is when you make comments like "Of the worst customer service I have received in a hotel".
For our part, we will keep working hard, improving and giving our guests the best day by day.
