I believe that the Lausanne Palace is an expensive hotel for the experience we received. The rooms are old, the halls are old, the staff in the lounge were very slow, I even got a broken glass and they had not noticed. In the evening I attended the IMD dinner and the food was disappointing and the room was small and felt old. The bar was small, and very difficult to navigate through. The staff at the bar were very kind and so the staff at the front desk and at the room support.

Ce fut une excellente expérience en famille, nous avons adoré les chambres (même si côté lac sans vue aurait pu éventuellement précisé car nous étions au premier étage). Je voudrais préciser qu'au téléphone j'ai demandé à plusieurs reprises si le tarif indiqué était bien le total pour deux nuits et deux chambres connectés, j'ai eu plusieurs échanges avec le service de réservation et me suis rendue compte au moment de régler que le tarif était en fait par nuit et par chambre, ce qui a doublé la facture. Je suis propriétaire d'un hôtel et j'ai l'habitude de traiter quotidiennement de ces sujets, je suis donc étonnée que nous ne nous soyons pas compris à plusieurs reprises. Le total indiqué à plusieurs reprises était de 1002 Fr et nous avons payé le double. Je tiens à le préciser car c'est important d'être plus précis et que l'équipe de réservation ne fasse pas cette erreur. A ce tarif nous ne serions pas venus chez vous.

I wanted to take a moment to share my experience following my recent stay at your hotel.
Firstly, I was pleased with the family and friends offer, which allowed me to stay for two nights. However, I was expecting to receive a more personal communication, such as an email regarding the booking, to enhance the overall experience.
On a positive note, I would like to commend the reception team and the staff at the Brasserie Grand Chêne restaurant. They were incredibly welcoming, professional, and made me feel comfortable throughout my stay. The breakfast service was also excellent, with friendly and attentive staff who made my mornings enjoyable.
The only concern I had during my stay was an incident I witnessed in the corridor. I noticed some staff members engaged in a discussion that seemed quite tense and appeared to be angry. While I understand that occasional disagreements happen, I felt it was a bit unprofessional for this to be happening in a public space, especially in front of guests.
Overall, I had a pleasant stay, and I truly appreciate the excellent service provided by your team. I look forward to visiting again in the future and hope this feedback helps to further improve the guest experience.
