Le Chalet de la Forêt

Generally very good. Possible need for better welcome pack: wine and local vegetables were ok but would have been better to have had say milk, bread, butter, eggs. Not much advice on local shops - probably because of language problem. No contact during stay - to check if we needed anything - ditto.
Rooms were good and excellent layout of property - especially with bedrooms on same level as pool, car and garden.

We have stayed here twice as a break in iur journey from Le havre to near Auch (Gers) and intend to continue staying here on future journeys when we travel by ferry

An excellent, friendly, well positioned hotel with superb restaurant. We have been using it as our overnight stop on the way to and from our destination for many years and have no reason to change. Thank you Alan.

A very nice and well situated logis. Only problem we had was with noise from the room above with occupants moving around. Sounded like they were rearranging the furniture at midnight!! We spoke to the hotel owner in the morning and she said they were aware of the problem and they were looking at ways to make improvements to the soundproofing. Very friendly helpful staff and owners and having secure parking is great.

Very handy for the A20 but quiet. Excellent restaurant and dog friendly.

bon accueil et ambiance charme un peu surannée mais agréable

An excellent location for the Autoroute north and south, east and west. Good honest value for money accomodation for an overnight stay en route to your ultimate destination, if you not visiting the area. Otherwise a good base for just that. One great facility is the secure parking, which is fantastic if you have a loaded vehicle.

We really enjoyed our night's stay here with my parents and our two boys aged 2 and 5. This is the second year we've stayed and both times have found the service and facilities to be perfect for our needs. Our boys loved the room, the grounds and the food too. It was lovely to have such a large family room with no fear of waking the neighbours! Thank you.
