We visit every year but we have had a 2 year gap because of the pandemic. We were quite shocked how many people had left whom we knew . Apart from one man we recognised nobody since 2019. This kind of upheaval makes it very difficult for you we feel .
The chef is obviously new as are many of the resto staff. The food is ok but quite a long way down from 2018. The service is very inconsistent . On one occasion we waited 1 hour plus to get our starter. By then the choice of 2 was 1 only .
At that point I went to talk to Thomas. From that point on he was fantastic as was Anne the wine waitress. The service improved 100 pct because they cared .
I am sure the Mas will return to its former greatness. We love it amd we care about it. We want it to succeed and Im sure it will .
