Very friendly staff and super nice breakfast. Other than that, we would have expected more with the Price and from a 5 star hotel. We had trouble sleeping du to noise from a party and the roads.! Also the wifi was super bad and we could not use a chromecast at the room.

We thank you kindly for visiting Louisa´s Place and your latest review. We do apologize for your experience with our wifi system and have asked our technician to check on this matter immediately. So far we were not able to detect any anomalies over the past couple days, however we cannot rule out that there might have been maintenance works being carried out by the external provider leading to the inconvenience with the local wifi.

Furthermore we are truly sorry to hear, that some neighboring houses noise and the capitals streets have caused trouble sleeping during your stay with us. We have already left a note in our system to ensure an allocation of a suite facing the green courtyard with water fountain for a more quite rest upon your upcoming stay.

Auch diesmal habe ich einen guten Eindruck gehabt. Ein grosszügiges Haus. Mit gewisse Zügen, die gar nicht in das grosszügiges Gesamtbild passen. Wenn das Personal sieht, dass ich das Kaffee getrunken habe, warum können diese kleine Kapsel nicht automatisch verrechnet und ersetzt werden? Warum kann es nicht automatisch auch mit dem Wasser geschehen. Wenn ich schon eine Flasche ausgetrunken habe, dann werde ich mich am nächsten Tag voraussichtlich auch nicht verdursten lassen.

I was in your hotel in 2009 with my family and had a great experience. I decided to take my youngest one to the same place now, but unfortunately your hotel is former glory. From our friends we got the advice to stay in a new hotel with perhaps lower rating, because the rooms are more uptodate and fresh than the old hotels. We definitely should have listened to our friends. Im afraid this was our last visit at Louisas place.

We thank you for choosing Louisa´s Place for your recent stay in Berlin after all those years. Same as you we are utterly disappointed that this time we were obviously not able to convince you of our service and our guest performance.

We are taking your feedback very serious and have already started a very thorough follow up to clarify the mentioned points, starting with your suite being subject to a full examination. In the aftermath to your stay we are certainly not able to retrace all your comments, e.g we already did a check up on the dishwasher in your suite, which was working perfectly fine, same as the hot water supply. Therefore we shall be pleased to contact you directly for futher detailed information, and do apologize if the tea towel in the kitchen was smelly or if the bath room drains might have caused a bad smell.

Furthermore we are very sorry to hear about your unfortunate experience in the neighboring garage. Since our hotel building was established in 1904, our basement holds a SPA area with pool instead of a parking lot. As parking in Berlin is as difficult as parking in any other capital of the world, we are glad to offer our guests limited available parking spots in the near by garage of a neighboring house, very convenient just across the street. The garage - build in the mid 70s - is compared to the size of today´s cars and SUVs indeed pretty narrow in some corners and requires a safe hand when driving. We apologize if the guest in the adjacent parking spot did not stick to the marks on the floor and therefore blocked your way on the day of your departure. And we absolutely do understand your shock scratching your large car at the column when trying to manouver it out with a tight turn. Our colleague at reception desk, who was busy with a lot of guests checking out at the end of the weekend as it was Sunday morning, should indeed have shown more sympathy and empathy to your personal, very upsetting situation. We have already talked this unusual situation through with our front desk staff to handle a future moment like yours much better next time and we hope you accept our late sincere apologies in this matter. Please let us know if you would like to take advantage of Valet Parking next time.
