Our overall experience was great! We loved the common area complete with coffee and games. The northern lights wake up call was also super helpful, especially with our jet lag. The staff was also amazing. Their shuttle wasn't working, so someone came and picked us up in their car.

A wonderful, yet short visit to Iceland.
The hotel was ideally situated for Keflavík airport and the Blue Lagoon, and had everything we needed, provided to a high standard.
Given the hotel’s name, we had high hopes for seeing the Northern Lights, and we weren’t disappointed as we saw them on all 3 nights of our stay, which was fantastic.
Although the hotel offers transport for the airport and the Blue Lagoon, I think we would have felt fairly isolated without our hire car - especially as Grindavik has still to fully recover from the earthquake and eruption damage.
Having said this, we knew where we were staying, and planned for this (unlike some others we spoke to).
We’d definitely highly recommend the hotel, and would return should we get another chance to visit this wonderful country..! :)

We would like to just see the Aurora. But hotel was very cozy kindly and comfortable too. we would like to just stay in my room and take a rest. we saw the Aurura and a lot of stars. it was very big present. I will don't forgot it.

Very disappointing based on how much we paid and the impressions we got from the website photos. There was some kind of construction going on during most of our time there, and some of the “spa” services were unavailable. The building and rooms were very industrial and seemed like they were previous military barracks that were minimally redecorated. It would probably still be somewhere we’d stay, if the price wasn’t so disproportionate. We don’t need anything fancy, but even with a steep discount code, the price was just wildly unjustifiable. We were so lucky to see the aurora and for the most part, all the staff was very kind and friendly. Just was not what we expected.

We regret that aspects of your experience did not meet your expectations, particularly regarding the price. We understand how these elements affected your overall impression and recognize that your concerns regarding value are important. We do however not fully understand what you mean with some kind of cunstruction as they only thing happening during your stay was that we were laying a new carpet on the stairs to the tower so the tower, which is a small part of our building was closed. All our services in the SPA were available except the floating tanks which we communicate on our website.

Awesome! We had a family room which was perfect for us. Beds were comfy. Loved the breakfast. The living room was the best place to relax with a coffee or hot chocolate and the fire place. Of course being woken up for the Northern Lights is a huge plus. Perfect stay in Iceland!
