Our stay at the Northern Lights in was fantastic! We wish we could have stayed longer!
So close to the Blue Lagoon and surrounded by fascinating scenery.
Our stay was shortened by an eruption but the staff were exceptional and very helpful.

Loved the hotel as a whole. The staff were all extremely nice and friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and the observation room at the top of the hotel was really nice. The restaurant was delicious with big portions.

Hotel très bien placé (blue lagoon) a un prix raisonnable. Le personnel et aux petits soins, les chambres sont agréables dans un environnement calme.
Le petit déjeuner est varié et offre un large choix. Le repas du soi était excellent. Je recommande.

We were very excited! The hotel is very unique and cozy. The location is great, the food in the restaurant is excellent, and the Aurora alarm is super cool! We especially loved the living room and the fireplace, where you can sit comfortably and relax. Thank you for everything!

We had such a great stay at Northern Light Inn. All of the staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. The room was so comfortable. Beds were great. Loved the restaurant - for both casual breakfast and for dinner. We walked to/from the Blue Lagoon. The lights themselves eluded us, but we will be back to try again.

Fantastic, friendly helpful staff. Loved the heated floors!!! Room was clean. The bathroom needed a little extra attention. Otherwise we will be back!! Thank you.

We had a great time at your hotel overall. However, I do think that by tagging your hotel as Northern Lights Inn, there is an increased expectation from visitors to see at least a glimmer of the Northern Lights especially during peak Aurora season. Unfortunately, we seen absolutely nothing, which was naturally a slight disappointment, although we understand you're at the mercy of mother nature. Maybe re-name to the 'Could Be Northern Lights Inn' lol :)

Hi Craig, many thanks for your review. We are happy to hear that you did enjoy your stay. You are correct, northern lights are at the mother nature. This is the reason we say our season is from Sept to end of March, as during this time we can guarantee the darkness. The other two very important factors are 1) clear sky and 2) activity from the sun. This is mother nature and is in fact the beauty as you cannot be guaranteed to see it, but when it happens it is magical. We do hope to see you again, and hopefully next time you will be able to enjoy the lights as we have a perfect spot for it, when mother nature decides to show its beauty :o)
