Farther away from blue lagoon then expected. Directions on how to walk there were bad. Shuttle was not there to give us a ride. Hotel was nice, but quite expensive for being far away from lagoon.

Great base to see geysir area and Gulfloss as well as visit the blue lagoon

This was our final stop on the way back to the airport. This hotel is ideally located for a visit to the Blue Lagoon, a very short drive or you can walk there. It is spacious, our room was very large with 2 comfortable armchairs and a bonus was being able to watch the BBC channels. The staff are friendly and helpful.
The food in the restaurant is very good. I can recommend the seafood risotto. An honesty bar and free tea and coffee are available in the lounge. Located in a geo thermal area the scenery is interesting with lava flows and a view of a volcano. Near to the coast at Grindavik. The hotel is an easy 20 minute drive to Keflavik Airport. An excellent stop either at the start or end of a visit to Iceland.

Great rooms and wellness spa/sauna. Also very close to the Blue Lagoon. The restaurant was also good. Check-in was ok. The person helping us was constantly distracted by multi-tasking for several other guests. He seems to be frazzled. Wasnt that welcoming. Other than that, everything else was good

We reality appreciated the location so near to the Blu Lagoon and at short distance to Keflavik Inter National airport (we had the flight on check out day) also very good the earlier breakfast wich allowed us to be on time at the airport. Not so good the Experience at Maxs restaurant : food was very good but service was very extra slow.
