Would stay again. Convenient to the blue Lagoon and the shuttle worked well.

Overall, we had a very good experience at Northern Lights. Check in was very welcoming, I like their cozy living room. The rooms were good size for organizing the beginning or the end of your Iceland trip. It is very close to Blue Lagoon and a lot more affordable. Best of all is room temperature control. There is no A/C anywhere in Iceland but you can control the heat in your room and have a large window to open if too hot. It is rare in Icelend to have any temperature control at all. Furnishings are basic as are most hotels. My mattress and pillows were very good. My husbands mattress a little hard. Large window looks out on lava fields with the power plant in background. Everything was very clean, the spaciousness of our room was very helpful as we had to rearrange 4 suitcases for flight out. My favorite thing was the kindness of staff. They will allow you to use up your kronas in the restaurant, very helpful on our last day in Iceland. Parking is easy, free and handy. Luggage cart available.

Great stay. Only thing I would say, there isn’t anything really to do besides the Blue Lagoon. So it’s not a destination for more than one night.

Une dernière nuit pour clôturer un voyage de deux semaines en Islande. C'était génial, les coulées de lave devant la fenêtre, chambre très grande avec deux fauteuils club super confortable.

You pay for location, walk to blue lagoon. Bathroom could be newer
