I really appreciated that they art outbreak fast at 4:30 so that we could eat before we left for the airport

This hotel was unique.
Perfect for a very quiet nights sleep and for the Blue Lagoon which is on the doorstep.
It’s an extremely quiet hotel with not a lot happening at all so one night was plenty for us here.
It’s the perfect location for the airport too so either a night on arrival or departure would be great.

We are in a quiet place but there are plenty things around, plus you can get to all major tourist attractions from our site using TourDesk (to be found on our website) tours that offer pick-up/drop-off services to our hotel. Very pleasant staff - lovely food in restaurant- tours were excellent that picked us up from hotel - free shuttle to blue lagoon - called us when northern lights came out - good location for blue lagoon & Reykjanes peninsula & seeing lights as no light pollution- good size rooms & comfy - lovely Christmas touches when we stayed - fabulous stay - thank you.

Fantastic. The whole experience was amazing. We felt we were living with a family, rather than in a hotel. The location is superb. All the staff made our stay very special. I have to give particular thanks to Hannah. She was so helpful it was unbelievable, even to the point of coming back to the Blue Lagoon after we didn’t see the shuttle turn up so we phoned the hotel for help. Hannah also went to a lot of trouble to print of information for my wife regarding the Yule Lads - she deserves a medal for putting up with all of our questions!

Personal was very nice and helpful. Hotel is close to Blue Lagoon. There is a special room for watching northern light, which is very convenient, as you don't need to freeze outdoor when watching out for northern light.

My stay was fantastic! I arrived very early due to my 6:00am flight expecting to just store my luggage, but they found a room ready for me which was so nice. I was having such a great time that I've forgotten the lady's name that was such a joy to deal with. She was working the front desk and had long blonde hair. She was still there at 7:00pm at night with the same warm smile. She took great care of me and I really appreciated her kindness! The shuttle to the Blue Lagoon was very convenient. The lamb shank at the restaurant was one of the best meals I've even eaten. I'd come back to this hotel just for that meal again! Thank you for such a lovely stay, I'll be back!!

Had to move rooms as the smell of sulphur at night was overbearing.

Hi David, many thanks for your review and rating. It happens that the wind is blowing in our direction and some sulphur smell blows over. This is part of being next to the Blue Lagoon but most of the time the wind is blowing in opposite direction. We are happy that you did enjoy your stay despite of this and do hope to see you again, one day.

Everything was excellent apart from the fact we didn’t see any Northern lights! Nice touches like the open fire in communal lounge. Clean and modern. Coffee was great!

We had a very enjoyable stay. The service was impeccable. So friendly. Dinner in Max’s restaurant was delicious. The staff were really attentive and friendly. They have a fabulous glass dome on top of the Inn from where you are able to view the Northern Lights. I really appreciated the help I was given with my car on the morning of our departure. A really lovely stay. Thank you.
