Nice quiet hotel with a great restaurant. If the weather is clear you can get a wake up call from the hotel when the Northern Lights are putting on their show. Only downside is that after arrival, we were unaware that a lot of roads south are closed to tourists due to road reconstruction from the eruption. Do your research carefully.

Overall, our stay at the Northern Light Inn was wonderful, and we'd recommend it to future visitors to that region of Iceland!

We had a great experience at NLI! We had only a couple of days in Iceland, and staying here was not only very comfortable, but it made it very easy for us to visit the Blue Lagoon and see the northern lights. We loved it and will highly recommend it to others.

We love the northern lights in. They accommodated us when we arri've. As our room was ready and we were able to settle in after a long flight. Everyone is very helpful and friendly. Clean rooms, wonderful location. This is our second stay at the northern lights inn and it won't be our last
