Karolina 10 out of 10! Her communication, friendliness and willingness to help really made traveling to a different country so easy and smooth. Karolina even before arrival helped with all our questions, confidently arranged our taxi from airport to hotel and still continued to offer her knowledge to make our stay and travel within Iceland very easy. THANK YOU KAROLINA! <3 ZIGGY 10 out of 10- thank you for teaching us how to set our cameras to capture the Northern Lights and thank you for making sure we were awake to catch them and on our last and only night we saw them! =) The room was clean and big enough for my family of four(adult size humans), loved the bathroom and the shower and was grateful for the drying rack on the shower wall really helped with our Blue Lagoon wet clothing...shuttle to and from blue lagoon sooooo convenient!! Breakfast buffet 4am-10am SO convenient! Max's staying open till 10 is convenient as well! Safety, my family and I felt very safe and secure with the thorough and constant communication of NLI staff in regards to being so close to the eruption area and evacuation if need be. Honestly, we thought it was so cool to see the lava rock everywhere still steaming from the November eruption. THANK YOU Karolina, Ziggy and NLI for making our travel to Iceland so smooth safe and comfortable.

Very comfy, it was a beautifully homely atmosphere and the viewing platform for the lights was fantastic.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Explained the evacuation procedure which luckily we didn't have to do! Very useful transport to and from the Blue Lagoon especially in horrendous weather.
However the room was too hot and we could find no way of changing the temperature (despite asking at reception). We couldn't open the window as there was a storm outside and the wind was strong and blowing directly from the power plant in the direction of our room.
There was also some mix up of the "honesty" bar but luckily we had kept our own record of what we had taken which did not match up with their record.

Hi Winn, thank you for your review. As you mentioned we had very bad weather during your stay and as we don't have AC in Iceland we open windows to cool down our houses. Unfortunately as you mentioned the wind was a bit to strong preventing you from opening the window and then the heat is not getting out. Vorsicht Touristenfalle! Sehr teuer - und dann ist das Wellness/Spa noch nicht einmal inklusive 😤
Liegt direkt neben einem Kraftwerk, Ruhe und Erholung stelle ich mir anders vor

Hallo Arve, Sie haben über unsere Website gebucht. Der Preis pro Nacht ist sehr klar angegeben und der Zugang zum SPA ist NICHT in den Standardzimmern inbegriffen. Das sollte Sie also nicht überraschen. Das ganze Gerede von einer Touristenfalle ist daher schwer zu verstehen. Wir wünschen Ihnen alles Gute.

From the beginning it was perfect,with excellent communication via emails for assistance. Checking in was a pleasure with Anna,who was so lovely and helpful. A lovely relaxed hotel,with friendly professional staff. It was all immaculately clean. We had a nice comfortable bed,and it was very quiet. We enjoyed the lovely lounge area to relax in.

I highly recommend staying at the Northern Light Inn. The staff is very friendly and helpful. If you want to experience raw nature and fully immerse yourself in Iceland, this is the place to stay.

It was lovely! The only thing it would have been great if we got an early breakfast to go as our flight was very early and we couldn’t make it to breakfast.
