Nice stay. Close to the
Blue Lagoon and cheaper than the exorbitant prices at the hotels right next to the lagoon. The surroundings are unusual, to say the least. One feels like in an expeditionary camp on the surface of the moon. Feels almost otherworldly. But for the occasional sulphuric smell, quite captivating indeed!

Everyone was great. I would say I think you need different curtains during the summer months. The room was almost too bright to sleep.

We really enjoyed the hotel the scenery the entire location. All of the staff we connected with were very friendly and helpful. One thing we really thought was cool was honor system self service, food and drinks. Not sure that would fly in the United States! We are already planning to come back when we have more than 24 hours to be there. The accessibility worked really well for my daughter who uses a wheelchair. Thank you to everyone!

We had a wonderful stay there and loved the location so close to the blue lagoon. The value was high and the meals we had at max's were fantastic.
