I had a very pleasant experience at the NLI. My only regret is not having more time to spend there. My plane arrived pretty late, and I had early plans with friends. So, my time at NLI was short. However, it was very comfortable and welcoming. I had a great nights sleep and felt spoiled by the Honesty Bar, the down pillows, and warm comforter.

From arriving to departure it was excellent. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, the hotel was very zen and clean, we even got a wake up call for the northern lights on our first night. Max’s restaurant was beautiful, the food was lovely and reasonably priced. I would most definitely stay again if we visit Iceland again.

Great location, excellent dining options it was great to be so close in around the lava fields amazing to see the operations in the region at work. The staff were great and very helpful during our short stay

It feels like home away from home

I would stay at the Northern Lights inn again. While the geothermal plant doesn’t give you the prettiest views, I had a feeling like we were staying in a strategically smart/safe area.

The complimentary shuttle from the inn to the blue lagoon was wonderful. We were able to completely relax and they were so accommodating .

The amenities and the honesty bar were great. The breakfast in the morning was really good. Also, I was so happy to receive that phone call after midnight letting us know we could see the northern lights. It absolutely made my trip!

Hotel was fantastic. Lovely guest lounge area with free tea and coffee. The room was a good size and nice and warm. Very clean bathroom with luxury toiletries. We put our room on the list to be notified if the northern lights were out and got a call at 3:50am and got up and saw them!! It’s was a magical experience. In the morning we had a fantastic breakfast, it was a great selection of hot and cold food. Hotel is in a great location very close to the blue lagoon. I would highly recommend this hotel
