We had a great time at your hotel overall. However, I do think that by tagging your hotel as Northern Lights Inn, there is an increased expectation from visitors to see at least a glimmer of the Northern Lights especially during peak Aurora season. Unfortunately, we seen absolutely nothing, which was naturally a slight disappointment, although we understand you're at the mercy of mother nature. Maybe re-name to the 'Could Be Northern Lights Inn' lol :)

Hi Craig, many thanks for your review. We are happy to hear that you did enjoy your stay. You are correct, northern lights are at the mother nature. This is the reason we say our season is from Sept to end of March, as during this time we can guarantee the darkness. The other two very important factors are 1) clear sky and 2) activity from the sun. This is mother nature and is in fact the beauty as you cannot be guaranteed to see it, but when it happens it is magical. We do hope to see you again, and hopefully next time you will be able to enjoy the lights as we have a perfect spot for it, when mother nature decides to show its beauty :o)

Very happy with my stay in this Hotel. Only sorry I did not stay for longer. Receptionist was so friendly and accommodating. Very helpful. Hotel was very relaxing and great when with small children. Comfortable and warm room. Food amazing. I will definitely be back with my family.

It was very peaceful and close to the airport. I wish we could have stayed longer. It looks like such a cute place with living rooms to hang out in .

Amazing experience at this hotel. Staff were incredibly friendly and let us check in early. We even got a chance to see the northern lights after a call from the front desk!

Had a wonderfull evening. Good dinner in a relaxing atmosphere. service was great, the room was really good with excelent beds. would recomend this place to anyone. perfect spot to relax and enjoy

We chose the hotel due to the close proximity to the blue lagoon, however we did not expect to be that close to the geothermal plant. That was the only negative. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay and the staff were great.

Hi Chana, the reason that we are so close is the fact that when the hotel was built, the lagoon was 500 meters away. It was moved in 2000 to where it is now. We are happy to hear that you did enjoy your stay with us as well as our services and we do hope to see you again.
