We thoroughly enjoyed our time. Such a nice hotel and so close to the Blue Lagoon.

Well, we woke up and everyone was evacuating because the ongoing volcano eruption 😂🫶 well interesting 🙂👍🙏

Dear Marcus Frost, many thanks for your rating. This was actually not an evacuation as the lava just blocked the main road to us so we had to close the hotel for 4 days while a new route was opened. We are back in business. We are happy that you did enjoy your stay with us and do hope to see you again.

It was easy and very accomodating. The staff was very friendly and always available to us when we needed them. Highly recommend to stay if visiting the Blue Lagoon

We had a wonderful stay at Northern Light Inn. The staff were friendly and helpful, and extremely accommodating, they allowed us to check into our family room early, and provided useful information about visiting the Blue Lagoon. They even put our room number down for a phone call during the night if the northern lights made an appearance! Max's restaurant offers a tremendous breakfast, which was enjoyed by my partner and I and our two 9 year-old children. Dinner at Max's restaurant was lovely also, I particularly enjoyed the view of the surrounding lava rocks. Ultimately, I would recommend the Northern Light Inn to everyone, especially if planning to visit the Blue Lagoon, it was one of the highlights of our trip to Iceland!
