It worked for us as we went to the Blue Lagoon. We appreciated the shuttle to the hotel. The honor bar was good.

L'hôtel est bien situé dans la région de Reykjanes mais la vue sur une usine et les odeurs de soufres ne sont pas terribles pour des vacances nature et détente

Overall our experience was 10/10. We were only there on a 19 hour layover but tried to at least make it to one of the beautiful lagoons. We were able to book last minute at the Blue Lagoon and it made such a relaxing experience ending a long vacation. Every individual we met were so very pleasant and helpful. Definitely want to bring our whole family and grandkids back for an exciting new experience. Thank you Northern Light Inn and ICELAND!

Very welcoming team / The room was vey clean (the floor was impecable, witch is not easy to find) / Very nice and confortable couches, sofas... Cosy leaving room / Shower: excellent / Great, overall. Thank you ; )

We had an unusual stay - meaning that I was very sick and spent the entire 24 hrs asleep in the room. We asked if by any chance the hotel had a thermometer that I could use to take my temperature and they really went above and beyond to get one for me, as well as some NyQuil and Tylenol. My husband was able to have a quick dinner at the restaurant while I slept. But next morning it was pretty clear I needed a doctor. The staff got us hooked up with a car to take us to the hospital and said that if we needed another night’s stay at the hotel that they would make sure we got a room. I have to say that I felt so cared for at a time that was pretty critical for me. I ended up having to be taken straight to the hospital by ambulance as soon as we landed back home, so things were definitely brewing while we were at the Northern Light. Couldn’t have made it without their help.

Love the Inn and appreciate the discount taxi service to airport and free shuttle service back and forth to the Lagoon, free breakfast buffet.
