We had a lovely time. The girl at the front desk who greeted us was very kind and helpful. She also drove the shuttle to the blue lagoon, which was greatly appreciated. When we checked out she helped extra by checking the weather and road conditions with me. I'm only disappointed that we couldn't have stayed longer! Excellent stay!

Overall, the experience at the hotel was great. Anna at the front desk was extremely helpful and such a pleasant person to deal with. The staff in the restaurant were also very great. We had some other unfortunate issues in Iceland that made our trip to the country somewhat disappointing, but the hotel was a 5 star and was a highlight of the trip.

We stayed here on our last night in Iceland as we were going to the blue lagoon. The hotel is about a 3 minute drive from the blue lagoon which worked really well for us! The hotel is also about a 25 / 30 minute drive from the airport which made it really for us when checking out.
We loved how there were rooms that guests could sit in with games, sofas & the lovely fire place! Unfortunately we didn’t get to see any northern lights but I imagine that the view from this hotel would be fantastic when the lights come out!
We also want to thank Tim for being amazing with us & helping us with our booking & stay! We really appreciated him helping us - fab member of staff :).
