This hotel stands for exceptional service, specifically to mention big and clean rooms as well as complimentary drinks in the fridge. First impression is a bit confusing, as it sits next to a georhermal power plant. However, it even exhibits an industrial charm after u get used to it, and the location is very convenient close to blue lagoon, lava fields, volcano hike and the airport.

It was very bad. We felt they did not care about our issue (5 people / 4 narrow beds) and I have never seen a hotel taking a booking for 5 when there is no way to have 5 people sleep in the beds offered. The receptionist was rude, not wanting to deal with our issue and try to find a solution.
The hotel is also located next to a geothermal plant. Our room had a direct view of the plant which was actually noisy 24/7.

When people book a twin room, they get 2 single beds. This is known all over the world. This is also very well communicated both in text and pictures when you book our hotel i.e. the different room types.
So when people are travelling 5 together, they do NOT book 2 x twin rooms as you only get 4 beds. We have many room categories, double, twin, TRIPLE, family, Superior and Deluxe rooms. This is what my receptionist was trying to explain to you, when you started yelling at her. Under no circumstances was she rude and this fact, I have from other guest that was in the reception at the same time. She was simply trying to inform you about this fact and as we were fully booked we had no option to move you to another room, nor add a bed to the twin room as they do no have space for the 3rd bed, which is the reason they are twin.
So please skip the part that my staff was rude to you, the only persons rude at the scene where you. Please do not come back to us.
