Wonderful first night of our holiday. Check in was quick and the woman working the front desk was incredibly kind and helpful. Beautiful and clean property. Breakfast and dinner were both very good. We wish we weren't so jet lagged and could've enjoyed the spa.

Great location close to Blue Lagoon with shuttle service. Rooms were clean and spacious. Added pickup from the airport and it was easy to see our driver and he got us out very quickly. Restaurant was amazing, food and drinks were delicious. Everyone we interacted with were helpful and very nice.

The hotel was so close to the airport and convenient to the Blue Lagoon. The free shuttle was a treat, thank you! The hotel was so quiet and comfortable. The room was so spacious and had all the amenities we needed. We appreciated the offer to have a phone call for the northern lights in the middle of the night. Too bad it rained!

We enjoyed our stay. Only complaint - our room was too hot. We did sleep with the window open.

Our overall experience was very disappointing. The location of this hotel being so near a power plant was never disclosed. None of the photos show the plant or the expansive piping network. We were in Iceland for a week and stayed at a variety of hotels. This was the most expensive and the most disappointing, by far. I will not recommend this hotel to friends and family traveling to Iceland.

Dear M Blatt, we are sorry to hear that we have failed to meet your expectations. In no way are we trying not to disclose our location. We are very proud of our location and not only do you have many pictures on our website but today, it is very easy to use sites like google map to see exact location and surroundings. We are located in middle of lava field, next to the Geothermal Power Plant that is generating clean energy, our drinking water and hot water to heat up our houses. All clean energy and facility. The reason we are so close is the fact that the most famous by product from this Geothermal Power Plant is the Blue Lagoon, which used to be next to the plant, but was moved in 2000.

Very good. Room was very clean. Bed was extremely comfortable. We had no Car so hard for us to get around. Breakfast was great with a good selection available

We got exactly what we expected. Northern lights showed which was amazing. Staff were kind and helpful!
