A wonderful hotel, beautiful decor in the restaurant and guest lounge complete with open fire. friendly and welcoming staff. 5 star dinner of lamb fillet. Made it very easy to get from Kefalik to blue lagoon with airport pick-up and then helped us get to our next destination in Reykjavik too. Highly recommended to stay here. The overall experience is really great, such a friendly, welcoming hotel. We have been here several times. The cosy family living room with fire and bar with waffles in the afternoon is very homey on stormy days. The vicinity to the airport and the Blue lagoon are hard to beat. We will be back.

A memorable and lovely few days. Food in Max's restaurant was delicious. Some lovely touches in the hotel such as the jigsaw, honesty bar, waffles and chess set. Not forgetting the lovely open fire.

The entire facility is extremely well run with the most genuinely hospitable staff throughout. We loved the gathering room and Honesty Bar which allowed a truly cozy retreat during our snowy stay.
