The most amazing experience.
From the moment we checked in, we were looked after. The free waffles and coffee was such a nice touch after a long day traveling. The shuttle to the blue lagoon was a lovely touch. During dinner, the staff announced that the northern lights were out. Everyone went outside and it was a magical end to our first night in Iceland.

Helt ok, ganske dyrt hotell og ikke verd prisen. Var lytt på rommet så vi sov ganske dårlig. Avstand til severdigheter, restauranter og lignende var stor. Her må du ha bil for å komme deg rundt. Rommene og hotellet er gammelt og slitt. Positivet at de har lader til EL-bil, serverer gratis vafler og tilbyr vekking/varsling ved forekomst av Nordlys. Vi følte vi bodde på et pensjonat.

What an incredible place to stay. An amazing hotel in a fabulous location and one of the best hotels we’ve stayed in. The staff are very friendly and the food was magnificent.

This hotel has everything you need. We enjoyed relaxing in the lounge, going on a hike and of course the blue lagoon right next door. The hotel put on a free shuttle too!

If the northern lights are in sight, they would call you (voluntarily of course - you opt in). They even have a viewing platform.

The people staying there are so friendly too. We loved chatting and sharing our adventures. The hotel only has a select number of rooms so you get to chat to all the guests as they pass by. We absolutely loved our stay. Thank you!

We would recommend this hotel to anyone and when we visit this amazing country again, we will definitely be staying here.

Couldn't fault any part of the hotel our stay was perfect! The staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly and the food was lovely we would love to come back again
