We wanted to stay outside of a town, so we had the best chance for low light pollution to see the northern lights. The staff walked around and notified us in the lounge that the lights had started outside. Very friendly staff. They even turned off the outside hotel lights for a bit to further reduce the light pollution nearby. That was a huge help. There's a northern lights viewing room on the second floor, which we found out about a little late in our trip. It made watching for them much easier and more comfortable.

The Northern Light Inn was the most perfect experience. We were greeted by very kind and friendly staff who gave us a quick tour and made us feel very welcomed. The story about Max warmed my heart! Max sure did his best to get Aurora to dance for us that night!!
The restaurant was lovely, staff were knowledgable and friendly, they gave excellent service! Dinner and breakfast were both phenomenal with great options.
We cannot wait to come back!!

Ils nous ont manque les decorations de Noel. Un peu trop minimaliste. Comment faire sourire un islandais? Nous n'avons pas pu arracher des sourires pendant tout notre sejour.

Our time at the Inn exceeded expectations. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The Inn itself was very comfortable.

Great location, great overall experience, comfortable beds and room, and Max's restaurant was DELICIOUS! (I still think about the Grilled Lamb). I also enjoyed the compression therapy service at the Wellness Centre. I also appreciated the shuttle service from Blue Lagoon, and the Taxi service to the airport. I will definitely be coming back!

Great overall experience. Very professional, friendly and helpful front desk service. We were lucky enough to be able to see the Northern Lights every night (3 nights) in November 2022 from the hotel itself. The blue lagoon is 1/2 mile away from hotel, so it was very convenient to visit and enjoy the lagoon while staying at this hotel. I would highly recommend it.

We had a lovely weekend break here. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable and the location was perfect for both Northern Light spotting and proximity to the Blue Lagoon.
