Excellent, but as a vegetarian coeliac, it would have been nice to have an option for dinner in the restaurant - all I could have eaten was a salad.
I was impressed with the option for a wake-up call if the Northern Lights were visible - that was a nice touch.

Très accueillant. Literie plus que confortable. Pratique car à côté du blue lagoon, et à 20 de laéroport.

Ils nous appellent si il y a une aurore boreale.

Restaurant agréable et très bon.

Northern Light inn is a very special place. The people were lovely, the room and entire property was super clean. We enjoyed Maxs restaurant, and love that it was named for their dog . Plus, we saw the Northern lights. We will be returning for sure!

It was a great stay to end our week long stay in Iceland. After experiencing the glacier lagoon, geyser, waterfalls, we could not have imagined we ended our trip with a fabulous performance of the northern lights on our last night at the Northern Light Inn. From the moment we checked in, we were treated like family - the fire place at the lounge, the free waffles in the afternoon, the honesty bar where you record what you consumed, and the alert call to inform you when the aurora appears from midnight. All these hospitality made us feel like home. To top that warmth, we saw northern light at the Northern Light Inn on our last night. This is really icing on the cake, and made the experience so memorable that we will remember for life. I will certainly be back when I have a chance to visit Iceland again.

My husband and I loved staying at the Northern Light Inn. Grindavik felt like a different world with its landscape, it was a quiet area and so close to hiking and the blue lagoon. All of the staff were so incredibly kind and we felt very well taken care of. Everything was clean, the room felt spacious and the bed was comfortable. Having free breakfast and reduced priced taxis was amazing, and the restaurant was delicious. Everywhere had a beautiful view outside and the lounge area was cozy. We loved that there was an observation deck, we went up there every day. It topped everything off that we were able to see the northern lights while up there. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone going to Iceland.
