Disappointed is a euphemism to describe my experience. My original booking was at Continental, which got cancelled because the hotel decided not to reopen. I was promised a better rated hotel with an exquisite Michelin star breakfast. Prestige is nowhere near the quality of facilities Continental has. The gym is outrageous and should not be allowed to operate given the age and state of the equipment which is borderline dangerous. The rooms are uncomfortable due to their court-facing nature that takes away any sense of privacy. The breakfast is worse than a 1 star hotel’s with zero selection/variety and bad quality ingredients.
I am an old time fan of Zara hotel and its facilities (gym, pools) and was very much looking forward to my stay there. The hotel change took away all the things I would have been happy to pay for and I’m very disappointed with the experience I got instead.
