Prestige Hotel Budapest****

Amazing!!! Best hotel we have stayed at for a while and we travel 5* across a lot of US and Asia!

Everything was good.

Overall we loved our stay at the Prestige. Where we would propose you consider improving is with regards to the gym. Opening at 10am is too late when visitors want to get an earlier start to their day in Budapest, and the temperature is so hot in the gym - even using the available fan does not reduce the unpleasantness of the stifling heat in the room.

We both enjoyed Budapest , the hotel was clean and the staff on reception and in the bar were helpful, however as explained the room upgrade felt like a downgrade as twin beds not acceptable and having two nights of unrest was not what we applied for . We wanted a romantic break with a comfy bed and not single duvets and beds pushed together, also was annoyed by interruption from housekeeping staff when having a sleep early evening before going out with constant banging at the door with no answer as sleeping from restless night. They should have a system that they know if someone is in the room.

From the moment we arrived early we knew this Hotel was wonderful! They kindly held our luggage until our room was ready so we could walk to the numerous sites near the Hotel. This Hotel was in the perfect location. We walked to the shopping district within only 5-10 minutes. We walked to the Big Bus location again easy 5 -10 minute walk. We had numerous restaurants near us within 5 min walk. We also enjoyed the Gellbert Spa that we walked to across the bridge. We both commented on the outstanding location of the Hotel. I was 100% pleased with everything and would highly recommend this beautiful hotel to anyone!
