Could have been improved by addressing the above.
More needs to be made of your bar, with a happy hour and a far greater selection of os wines by the glass.
You are losing a lot of building.

Please rest assured that your comments regarding the Nespresso machine, pillows, and breakfast quality have been shared with the relevant departments and our maintenance team for review and follow-up. For future visits, please feel free to share any concerns with us while on site, as we would have been more than happy to immediately replace the Nespresso machine and also present our pillow selection to help ensure a more comfortable stay.

We also value your suggestions concerning the bar atmosphere and wine-by-the-glass selection. Alongside our welcoming lobby, we offer our cozy Saloon as an additional space to relax and enjoy a drink, and we will gladly share your ideas regarding happy hour promotions and expanded wine options with our partner restaurant.

I am pleased to provide these additional comments about the lovely stay I and my and 2 travel companions had at the Prestige Hotel Budapest. I am writing on behalf of the 3 of us, all of whom join me in my responses to the questionnaire and my comments below.

We were greeted with a warm and gracious welcome from David at the Front Desk. He explained everything to us clearly and made us feel that we’d made the right choice in selecting The Prestige Hotel for our stay. Our room was quite lovely and include plentiful luxury amenities. Thank you for the delicious bottle of wine!

We do want to note our surprise at the response we received from another gentleman at the Front Desk when we later asked for a dinner restaurant recommendation. (I don’t recall his name; I believe it may have started with the letter “Z.” He was tall, had dark hair and as I recall was of slender build.) I explained that I’d attempted to access a few menus online from the list of restaurants David provided to us when we checked in, but some menus consisted of rather short lists and I didn’t know if we were seeing the full or only partial lists of menu items because I was seeing them on my phone, and thought we’d just request a recommendation. The gentleman seemed to want to instruct us on fine dining; he informed us that fine restaurants have limited menus so they can focus on the excellence of the items they served. Rather than continue to discuss menu length, I thought it would be simpler and more efficient for him and us if I simply described our respective palates. I told him that one of us is a pescatarian, one cannot tolerate spicy food, and that I eat most anything, and would he please suggest a casual place, preferably near the hotel, that would accommodate all of us. He responded by saying that he wasn’t sure he could do this, because we’d given him a difficult and time-consuming task! We decided to locate something ourselves or simply dine in at the hotel.

My friends and I have traveled together globally for over 20 years and have dined at outstanding restaurants that offered both limited and extensive menus. We have never encountered any hotel staff who found our request for a restaurant recommendation to accommodate our diverse tastes as challenging. Hence, our surprise at his response.

We ultimately decided to dine at Costes in the hotel and easily found menu items that not only accommodated all of our tastes, but were beautifully presented and outstandingly delicious. The service and extra touches were similarly outstanding. We’re not sure why the gentleman at the Front Desk didn’t just suggest that we consider Costes’ menu when we asked for a recommendation. We’re very glad we decided on our own to dine there, as it was a wonderful and delicious experience.
