Disappointed that when I was forced to cancel my first night reservation that I was not refunded my prepayment. I traveled from Hawaii and my first flight was delayed by 20 hours due to a fuel pump problem discovered by the pilot just before take off. Hawaii Island being remote had just the one plane. As soon as I was able to rebook all my flights I contacted Hotels .com who contacted you about my situation. I do not know if I really missed the deadline to cancel as there is a 12 hour time difference. The manager absolutely has no heart or he would have understood that everything was beyond my control and that I truly did my best to notify the hotel of my unfortunate situation.
