Overall, the hotel was beautiful, comfortable and welcoming, but we were saddened by the incident that one of our friends broke his arm after slipping in the bath tub. We were surprised to see no warning sign nor necessary safety handle bars equipped in the rooms with bath tubs. It could happen to anyone. Please consider future improvements for the safety of guests and hotel reputation.

This hotel reminded me of a bygone era I.e. the late 20th century when hotels offered great service and all the little touch’s that make the stay special.

We enjoyed our few days in Budapest prior to boarding a river cruise. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel was a great place to initiate daily tours of the city and all its historical sites. We especially enjoyed our dinner at the Costes Downtown.

Clean hotel with good decor. Would benefit from a chilled bar/lounge area that is not in the restaurant where you can sit and order drinks or a roof top area.

Loved Budapest. Position of hotel was excellent for walking everywhere. Noise from air conditioning unit was annoying as it disturbed our sleep. Offer of new room on last night was not taken up as couldn’t promise wouldn’t be the same!
