We had lived in Budapest before and we wanted to re-visit the beautiful city as "tourists". We decided to stay at Hotel Prestige due to it's central location and superior quality and we were not disappointed! The hotel served as a base exactly as we hoped for and the breakfast was really nice way to start the day. We also used the gym and relaxation services (jacuzzi & sauna) during our stay. We would stay here again!

The hotel is stunning. Most of the staff were very friendly, especially the concierge who helped us buy and print out opera tickets. We received a free upgrade which was very nice- the one thing I didn't understand is why we were upgraded to a room with two twin beds instead of one king. I like to sleep with my husband so I pushed the two beds together and that kind of worked, one bed would have been better though. Because we arrived so early and needed a nap, and because we got the free upgrade, I didn't ask if there was a different room with a King once we got into our room.
One strange thing about the room is the bathroom the way the shower opens (room 515), there is no way to get the bath matt on the floor outside the shower door. (because you can't close the shower door behind you without moving the matt), so there was always a puddle of water after showering. It's kind of hard to explain, but the issue is kind of the way the shower door opens/closes. I loved the decor of the room and the hotel, it is gorgeous. I wish there were a usb charger in the room somewhere, our other hotel had some places to charge via usb. We asked to borrow a US to Euro charger (which services book mentioned was available at no cost), but then front desk mentioned there would be a charge to borrow one which seemed silly. Other high end Euro hotels have usb charging built into rooms.

The perfect location to explore a lovely city. The hotel was very welcoming and all staff were extremely helpful. I would recommend the hotel to anyone and everyone - I couldn't fault it from our experience
